Edibles Recipe: Cannabis Chocolate Pudding

Picture this: you are sitting down on a comfortable couch after a lovely ladies night at your house… with a bowl of delicious chocolate pudding.

This wouldn’t be just any ordinary pudding though — this would be cannabis chocolate pudding that you made in less than half an hour.

We love this recipe for CannaChoc Pudding we found on the Herb website. We’ve changed up a couple of things to add our own flair and we hope you like it. With 9 simple ingredients and just a few preparation steps, you will have an easy chocolate pudding dessert made for your ladies night in no time!

Ingredients Required to make Cannabis Chocolate Pudding

2 large egg whites

10 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tbsp cornstarch

2¼ cups whole milk

2 tbsp cannabis butter (recipe below)

½ cup sugar

2 tsp vanilla

dash of salt

raspberries for garnish (could also use strawberries)

Cannabis Chocolate Pudding Cooking Directions

In a stand mixer, or with an electric hand mixer, lightly beat your egg whites until soft peaks form.

In a medium bowl, combine the cornstarch and cocoa; whisk in 1 cup of the whole milk until smooth.

Heat the rest of the milk with the cannabis butter (recipe below) and sugar, whisk the mixture repeatedly until it comes to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Take your pot off the heat, whisk in the cocoa mixture, and then return to the heat and simmer again, whisking for 2-3 minutes.

Take the pot off the heat and allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes.

Add one cup of the cocoa mixture to the egg whites, whisk it in and then put it back in the pot with the rest of the cocoa mixture. Cook on low, making sure to not bring the mixture to a boil.

Remove from the heat, stir in the vanilla and a dash of salt and allow to cool. When it has cooled to room temperature, cover it with plastic wrap right down on top of the pudding to make sure a skin doesn’t form, and put it in the fridge.

Serve topped with raspberries (or strawberries) and maybe even some whipped cream too!

Please enjoy this pudding responsibly. It takes longer to feel the effects of cannabis when you eat it rather than smoke it, and the effects can last much longer. Start with a small serving of pudding and go from there.

Ingredients Required to make Cannabis Butter

½ cup butter

¼ oz granulated cannabis

Cannabis Butter Cooking Directions

Fill a small sauce pan with about 2 inches of water and place a metal bowl on top of the pan such that the metal does not touch the water. You can also use a double broiler.

Add the butter to the sauce pan (or double broiler) over low-medium heat. Once the butter has been melted, add in your cannabis.

Let the ingredients cook together for about 20 minutes.

Remove the metal bowl from the sauce pan and let the mixture sit on the counter, uncovered, for another 20 minutes.

Put a few layers of cheesecloth and place them in a bowl. Pour your cannabis butter mixture into the cheesecloth, pick up the sides of the cloth and wring out all of the butter into a small bowl.

Finally, put your butter into the fridge and let it solidify; once prepared, it should be slightly green and smell like cannabis.
